Hardware supplied with the awning

The Shado awning is a quality product. It is of the highest quality and will last a long time. It is ready to be installed on a hardwood support or on a solid concrete or brick wall, thanks to the hardware supplied (wood screws, screws + dowels). The semi-box protects the fabric, once rolled up, from insects, bad weather, dust and sunlight.
With a density of 280g/m2, the polyester fabric will ensure good shading. The fabric is coated with polyurethane to resist UV, weathering and tearing. For extra strength, the seams are doubled in the stressed areas.

Safe deployment and storage of the fabric

The fabric is wrapped around a robust, anodised aluminium tube. The fabric is tensioned by means of an aluminium arm with double tensioning cords, which ensures that the fabric is always taut and easy to open. The fabric is easy to unfold and store. To set the desired projection or to fold the awning, simply insert the supplied crank into the eyelet provided and operate it.

Modern and robust awning

For a modern look, the valance has a straight cut. The Shado terrace awning is well thought out and can be adjusted to fit your home, with the slope being set with two adjustment screws.
For extra strength, the main parts such as the arms and the roller are made of aluminium. The supports, claws and fasteners are made of cast aluminium.
Additional information
This product is intended to protect from light rain and to create shade. It cannot be permanently deployed to avoid the risk of excessive wind load which could damage the product.
It is designed to be installed on a solid wall (brick, concrete), or on hardwood (walls or partitions). If you wish to install the blind in a cavity wall, you will need to use a suitable fastener (chemical, lag bolt).
The fixing kit is not designed for ceiling installation, but for wall installation only.
