Product description >
PYLA, 3x3m SQUARE CANTILEVER PARASOL
The square Pyla cantilever parasol is both modern and sturdy. This luxury parasol is made from a premium quality fabric.
The 8 ribs and the pole are made from an anodised aluminium. This material guarantees a long lifespan. Quality-wise, anodised aluminium is much better than painted aluminium. It's colour won't fade over time.
The thickness of the aluminium is 2.2mm for the pole and 1.1mm for the ribs. The crank handle and fittings are made from cast aluminium.
SUPERIOR QUALITY CANOPY
The Pyla's canopy is made from Agora ® fabric, which is manufactured in Spain by Sauleda. Its sun protection factor is: UPF50+
The thick 100% acrylic canopy weighs 260g/m2 and is mass-dyed. This means its colour won't fade and the canopy comes with a 5-year discolouration guarantee. With its teflon coating, anti-stain/mould and condensation treatment, the Agora fabric is both grime and UV-resistant. It's also fully water-repellent.
The canopy can be removed and washed on a 30°C cycle or wiped down with a bleach solution.
The Pyla parasol has a useful, 360° rotating base. This means you can adjust it to give you a shady spot whatever the time of day. The umbrella can be tilted from 4° to 50°.
It's easy to open and close thanks to its crank handle. The parasol comes with polyethylene dust cover to keep it protected when not in use.
Please note that this parasol is sold separately, without a parasol base. It is essential to use a base to ground this cantilever parasol.
You can also find specialist concrete ballasts (measuring from 40x40cm to 50x50cm) in larger DIY shops. As is common with cantilever parasols, this parasol does not resist well to extreme weather conditions, for example, heavy rain or wind. If your parasol is moving in the wind or breeze, we advise closing it immediately to prevent incurring any damage.
If you need to replace the protective cover after a few summers, we sell it separately here
Please note that the colour of the parasol in the photo may vary depending on your screen's settings.
Dimensions to bear in mind
When choosing a parasol, it is important to consider the space available in your garden. In addition to the 300cm for the parasol, there is a safety requirement of 50cm empty space on all sides. In other words, the total space required for a 300cm parasol is 400cm in each direction.
